I, Jerid Maddox, Pharm.D. began working for Keith Mitchell
at Mitchell Pharmacy in 1996. It is there were I first thought
of becoming a pharmacist some day. I graduated from Kennett
High School in 1997 and spent one year at the University of
Missouri-Columbia before I realized I wanted attend
pharmacy school at the University of Mississippi (aka Ole
Miss). I continued to work at Mitchell's during breaks from
school, where I learned even more about the practice and
business of pharmacy. Keith Mitchell was a wonderful employer and
mentor to me, without whom I would have never ended up at TEKO
Pharmacy today. I went on to obtain my Bachelors of Pharmaceutical
Sciences from Ole Miss in 2001, and my Doctor of Pharmacy in 2003.
I am a self proclaimed "expert" on medications and, as new
medications are developed, pledge to study and become an "expert"
on those as well.
I am always open to questions and will ALWAYS make time for you.
Don't hesitate to ask me anything about your medications or your
medical conditions--as I have knowledge in these as well. When
appropriate of course, I will refer your question to your
physician. I am available after hours for emergency prescription
needs (573-888-1251 or 573-344-2449) almost anytime day or night.
I look forward to every day at TEKO Pharmacy, getting to
interact with our beloved customers, whom Eules Hively and Omer
Gaskins served for many great years. I credit Keith Mitchell and
them for laying the ground work for this wonderful pharmacy,
and I hope to continue what was started by them 25 years ago. I
sincerely appreciate all of our customers/patients and hope to
serve you for at least another 25 years!
Jerid Maddox, Pharm.D.
